Position Structure: Full Time; Work a minimum of 40-45 hours per week, including three Saturdays per month with opening and closing shifts during peak periods such as Flip weeks.

Beautiful Lives Thrift Boutique is a non-profit, upscale thrift boutique partnering with our generous community who donates, purchases, and serves with purpose to bring dignity and hope to women in a season of need. 

POSITION PURPOSE

Purpose Brands 414 is seeking a highly motivated woman to steward the role of Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Beautiful Lives Thrift Boutique Siloam Springs Store. As a Store Manager, she will play a crucial role in leading a team, maintaining exceptional in-store experiences, and advancing the mission of PB414. She will be responsible for cultivating a welcoming and elevated store environment, leading and coaching team, contributing strong visual merchandising, executing sales strategies, and promoting the mission of PB414 in the community. Her leadership and commitment to the core values of PB414 will inspire and empower paid team and volunteer team to provide outstanding service at every opportunity. 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Store Manager will be entrusted with the responsibility of being the hands and feet of Jesus towards customers, volunteers, and fellow team members in the store. Since ministry is the “why” and thrift is the “how” then her primary focus will be going above and beyond in helping customers feel seen and cared for while also maintaining an attractive and efficient shopping environment through consistent follow through of job responsibilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide visionary leadership by setting a positive example and guiding the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Oversee and lead daily store operations, ensuring seamless processing and optimal performance.
  • Schedule and manage a paid staff team to meet business needs, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain floor inventory to align with store impact goals and execute sales and promotional calendars.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Purpose Brands 414 Leadership to plan and coordinate in-store events.
  • Implement the annual pricing strategy to align with PB414 mission and brand goals.
  • Ensure efficient point-of-sale operations, including cash handling, oversight of cash drawers, and bank deposits.
  • Train new hires in store operations and customer service standards to foster continuous growth and development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and processing space to meet store needs.
  • Oversee visual merchandising, including displays, mannequins, and seasonal store changes.
  • Foster a culture of human flourishing and unconditional positive regard among team members and volunteers.
  • Track receipts and expenses accurately to ensure financial accountability.
  • Provide ongoing support, clarity, and motivation through training and development initiatives.
  • Manage store supplies and needs within allocated budgets.
  • Communicate store updates weekly and as needed through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct monthly team meetings to enhance communication and alignment.
  • Attend Level 10 meetings, training sessions, and development programs as required.
  • Conduct quarterly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to provide guidance and support.

  • Experience in training and developing team members to reach their potential.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Previous retail management experience preferred or transferrable skills applicable to the role.
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours during high-demand periods.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in leading a team, volunteer management, event planning, or community engagement preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Resilience under pressure, with the ability to maintain focus and productivity.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and willingness to learn database/CRM management software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to PB414’s mission, vision, purpose, and core values.
  • Understanding and appreciation of the benefits of volunteer contributions.

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.

  • Salary range: $45,000-65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Annual Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA): We provide an annual cost of living adjustment (COLA) to align with economic changes; this is not performance-based or a bonus
